Ben Ganther, CEO + Co-Founder, Odyssey Climbing + Fitness
This August, Odyssey Climbing + Fitness will open the doors to its newest indoor climbing and fitness facility at 4150 N. Galaxy Drive in Grand Chute, bringing Memberships, Day Passes & Youth Programs at the climbing gym and fitness center to the Fox Valley for the first time in nearly 20 years.
At 17,000 square feet, the new Grand Chute facility features a comprehensive array of offerings, including:
- Bouldering, Roped climbing and autobelay systems (no partner needed!) for climbers of all experience levels
- A dedicated yoga studio
- State-of-the-art fitness and cardio equipment
- Spacious community gathering areas
Designed with both new and experienced climbers in mind, Odyssey Appleton offers 50% more climbing terrain than the company’s first location in Green Bay, making it one of the largest climbing gyms in Wisconsin.
A Hub for Health, Movement, and Community
More than just a fitness center, Odyssey Climbing + Fitness was founded on the belief that community and adventure can transform lives. Climbing is a uniquely engaging sport that builds strength, confidence, problem-solving skills, and meaningful relationships — often all in the same session.
“We’re not just building a gym — we’re building a place where people can connect, grow, and be inspired,” says Ben Ganther, Co-Founder of Odyssey. “Whether you’re a first-timer or long-time climber, this facility will be a community hub for the entire Fox Valley region.”
Membership: Your Key to the Climbing Community
Odyssey’s membership program is at the heart of its community-focused model. Members receive full access to both the Appleton and Green Bay locations, and enjoy benefits including:
- Unlimited climbing, yoga, and fitness access
- Discounted classes, youth programs, and climbing instruction
- Guest passes to share the experience with friends and family
- Early access to events and soft openings
“People are looking for ways to connect with each other,” says Ganther. “Whether you’re coming to climb with your friends on a Day Pass or hosting your kid’s birthday party here, climbing is a great way to get off your screen and hang with people in a healthy environment.”
Currently, Odyssey is offering a limited-time OG Membership Sale, allowing new members to lock in their lowest-ever monthly rate before opening. The sale ends August 22, and OG/Founding Members will be granted exclusive early access to the facility during a soft open period.
Grand Opening Celebration Planned
An official Grand Opening celebration will follow later in August and is set to include live music, local food trucks, and craft beer — a fitting kickoff for a facility built around energy, movement, and shared experiences.
