Fourteen members of the local EAA Chapter 1710 gathered Wednesday evening for a special after-hours tour of the EAA Aviation Museum, participating in an immersive and educational experience that highlighted the rich heritage of aviation.
Throughout the evening, attendees explored the museum’s extensive collection of historic aircraft and exhibits, gaining a deeper understanding of the innovation, craftsmanship, and stories that have shaped aviation over the decades. The guided experience offered unique insights into the design, engineering, and historical significance of each aircraft, allowing members to connect more personally with aviation’s past and ongoing evolution.
The after-hours setting provided a rare and memorable opportunity for members to experience the museum in a more intimate environment, encouraging meaningful discussions and a greater appreciation for the exhibits without the presence of regular daytime crowds.
“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to experience the museum in such a unique way,” said President, Mathieu Labs of EAA Chapter 1710 “Events like this help inspire our members and strengthen our shared passion for aviation.”
The chapter extends its sincere appreciation to EAA for hosting the tour and for its continued commitment to preserving aviation history and fostering education within the community.
EAA Chapter 1710 remains committed to inspiring the next generation of aviators, supporting aviation education, and bringing the local aviation community together through events, programs, and volunteer efforts.
