Every Memorial Week and Veterans Week the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 351 and Associates Nursing/Retirement Home Committee present a program to four nursing homes and 2 retirement homes. Our VVA Chapter is a lively community of connection and support.
The programs consist of The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, singing of patriotic songs, veterans telling their stories when they were in the service, many readings honoring our veterans, and most of all, meeting and greeting our veterans after the program.
Members of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 351, are part of a dynamic community presence. We have plenty of activities to participate in, which include community education, seminars on military matters, regular social events, and meetings.
