Rezoning for Potential Quarry Tabled
A contentious request to rezone parcels on County Trunk O from industrial to general agriculture was discussed. Resident Mike Baseman spoke in strong opposition, citing concerns about noise, dust, and decreased property values from a potential quarry. Board members noted that while the county has the final say, rezoning would give the town more control over future permits.
