Legal and Ordinance Matters
- Legal Counsel Engagement: Following a closed session to discuss protection of Town intellectual property rights, the Board moved to enter into a letter of engagement with Garet Galster with Smith Keane law firm once updated with names and dates.
- Claim Disallowed: Approved Resolution TBR-14-2025, which disallows the claim of Brett Evers, 903 W Lorain Street.
- Litigation Discussion: The Board discussed legal strategy in closed session regarding State Case No. 2024-CV-00893, John Urban Jr. v. Town of Grand Chute, et al.
- Ordinance Amendments: The Board approved three ordinances amending existing chapters:
- Ordinance O-08-2025: Amending the Existing Fee Schedule.
- Ordinance O-06-2025: Amending Existing Chapter 497 Trees and Shrubs.
