For five years, the “soul sistas””—Brooklyn, Finley, and Quinn—have gathered at Grama Katie’s house for a special baking day. Each year, they choose a new recipe to bake, with the intention of sharing their culinary creations with family or others in their community.
Over the years, their baking repertoire has included elaborately decorated cupcakes, pies, spaghetti and meatballs, and lasagna. This year, the “cousins” decided to bake cookies, dedicating their efforts to some very special people: the local Police and Fire Departments. Recognizing the hard work of these community members, the girls were excited to deliver the cookies along with handmade cards as tokens of appreciation.
After the cookies were baked and delivered, the fun continued for the gals with a pizza party, prepared under “Ooma’s” guidance. The process started with sticky dough, requiring patience and teamwork before each cousin added their favorite toppings. The result is a delicious pizza that everyone enjoys together. With the baking completed, the cousins celebrated with singing, dancing, and laughter.
