I am not a journalist or a reporter! Just a die hard Packer fan who grew up in Green Bay and have now resided in Grand Chute for about 27 years! During Packer football season I hope you will enjoy, ‘One Fan’s Opinion’ of our Green and Gold!
At the time of the writing the Packers are 6-3-1. Yes, that goofy tie at the end of our record is not going to somehow go away anytime this season! To say the 2025 Packers season is having ups and downs would be putting it pretty mildly! The bottom line is, 10 games into this season the team is right in the throws of winning the division and making a playoff run!
The current aches and pains for the team are definitely centered on the offensive. Some people think it’s play-calling. Others think Jordan Love is not a franchise quarterback. A third faction of fans think the offensive line is the problem. Oh, and a fourth group of folks just feel the overall execution of the offense(catching the ball, not committing penalties, etc.) is what needs to be fixed. So who is right? Probably everyone one of these perspectives is arguably correct at some parts of this journey!
Here is my optimism:
This offense is still loaded with game wrecking weapons that are ramping up or are coming back from injury very soon. Many of these players like Jayden Reed and Christian Watson are 3rd and 4th year players. They are not rookies needing to make a massive impact! Jordan Love has this locker room fully tethered by his side. The team will run through a brick wall for him. Couple that with a team that has a championship caliber defense and I still like our chances!
No team in today’s NFL is a dominant, winning machine for all 17 games of the regular season and then the playoffs. Teams have ebbs and flows that come with how healthy they are and if they can get hot down the final stretch of the season. Will the Packers be the healthy and hot team to beat as we head into December and January football? I don’t know! But, I do know they have the manpower to do it. So, I remain hopeful! I hope you will do the same!
