As our community continues to grow and evolve, so does the infrastructure that connects us. The ongoing I-41 project is a testament to this progress, significantly improving our local roadways. While construction can bring temporary changes to our daily routes, these efforts are paving the way for a smoother, more efficient future for Grand Chute and the surrounding areas.
We understand that staying informed is key. Here are some of the current updates you might encounter in and around Grand Chute:
- The Holland Road bridge over I-41 is expected to close the week of June 2 for reconstruction, with completion anticipated in late fall.
- The County J bridge over I-41 closed on May 6, 2025.
- Ballard Road closures began at the end of April.
- You’ll find ramp closures in effect at the I-41/WIS 15 interchange, and the southbound I-41 off-ramp at WIS 96 (Wisconsin Avenue) is closed through summer 2025.
- On a positive note, the newly reconstructed Capitol Drive overpass, County N interchange, and Rose Hill Road overpass are now open, enhancing local travel.
- Long-term closures also remain for WIS 15/County OO/Northland Avenue over I-41 and Vandenbroek Road over I-41.
These vital projects are designed to enhance connectivity and safety for everyone. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we collectively move forward. Let’s continue to support one another as our community builds for tomorrow. For current traffic impacts of additional northeast region projects, visit 511wi.gov
