Fava Tea Company
Fava Tea Company has been a staple of the Fox Valley since its opening in 2007. It all began when owners Bryan and Mellisa ran out of their favorite loose-leaf iced tea and wondered why there wasn’t a local tea supplier. Six months later, Fava Tea Company opened its doors in Appleton. The name comes from a 13-month-old and two slightly neurotic canines named Moxie and Tigger. When Bryan and Mellisa’s son took to calling the dogs Fava and Tea, Wisconsin’s premiere supplier of loose-leaf tea was born, and has since expanded from a singular flagship store to include two Milwaukee locations. With a customer base that stretches across the United States, Fava Tea is proud to feature over 250 blends, with an expansive line of signature teas, fun limited-edition blends, and seasonal flavors for every month of the year.
At its heart, Fava Tea has always been about teas that taste good, are good for you, and that serve as an expression of every customer that walks through the door. It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned tea drinker or just starting out, because they pride themselves in offering unique blends to fit each individual lifestyle, whether it’s just for fun or for those in search of the highest quality traditional teas. At Fava, everyone is a tea drinker, and if you think you aren’t, you simply have yet to discover the perfect blend.
But above all else, Fava Tea Company is, always has been, and will always remain a family-owned and family-focused company. It stands as the core of their foundation, the focus of their philosophy, and the basis of the culture they strive to create in not just the tea-drinking world, but the phenomenal community they love to serve. A trip to Fava is truly a stop to see friends, to grab a hot cup of a freshly-brewed favorite, and to explore everything tea has to offer.
Fava Tea Company is located in Appleton at 706 North Casaloma Drive near the Fox River Mall and is open 11 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sundays. Stop by and say hello from the GC Gazette! Their tea associates would be glad to see you!
