Frozen Pizza Throwdown Returns to Neuroscience Group

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are already rebranding as an alternate identity as the Frozen Pizzas for a game on Saturday, July 12. To continue the celebration of the World Capital of Frozen Pizzas, the team will host a Frozen Pizza Throwdown at Neuroscience Group Field on Saturday, July 19.
“What is a Frozen Pizza Throwdown?” you ask. This event brings some of the finest frozen pizzas in the state to the home of the Timber Rattlers for a friendly competition with fans acting as the judges. We have already confirmed Jack’s, DiGiorno, Tombstone, California Kitchen, Screamin’ Sicilian, Village Pub, Emil’s, and Packerland Pizza with many more to come.
Nothing goes better with pizza than beer. So, many local breweries will be on hand with samples of their beers. To make this event even better, there will be live music performed throughout the afternoon.
“We’re excited to bring this unique event featuring frozen pizza, beer, and music to the Fox Cities,” said Timber Rattlers Vice President of Business Operations, Ryan Moede. “Our area is home to some of the best frozen pizza brands in the world and we can’t wait to celebrate that right here at the ballpark!”
A number of different ticket options are available for the event:
VIP level allows early entry from 2:30pm through 4:00pm with ten pizza samples, ten beer sample tokens, a Wisconsin Frozen Pizzas hat, a cup, and a lanyard with admission for $43.
General Admission packages are available at $33 to allow entry from 4:00pm-6:30pm, six pizza samples, six beer sample tokens, a cup, and a lanyard.
A Non-Alcoholic General Admission package for $28 allows entry 4:00pm-6:30pm, six pizza samples, three tickets good for either water or soda, a cup, and a lanyard.
Children 12 & Under are allowed into the event at no charge and additional pizza sample tokens can be purchased on-site. Parking for the event is $10. Tickets for this unique event went on sale, May 9th. Call the Timber Rattlers box office at 920-733-4152.
