The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia was the site for the first NFL Draft back on February 8, 1936. The first draft was low-key with no fans or media coverage. The celebrations around the draft started taking place in 1980 when the NFL Draft took its largest step forward and was televised live by ESPN. Every year since 1980, the term comes to my mind, ‘go big or go home’ because every year each city tries to outdo the previous ones. For the 2025 NFL Draft, all eyes are set on Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24 – 26, 2025.
Main events for the draft will take place around Lambeau Field and the Titletown District. The NFL Draft Experience will be a huge free football festival with hours from 12 pm to 10 pm on April 24 and 25, and 9 am to 6 pm on April 26th.
