Outagamie County is a county in the Fox Cities region of the U.S. state of Wisconsin, located in the northeast of the state. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 190,705. Its county seat is Appleton.
The Outagamie County government has a County Executive and a 36-member county board. Yes, thirty-six! Milwaukee has 18.
Per the county website – The County Board of Supervisors meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The meeting details can be found on the agenda. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Legislative Services Office at (920)832-5054. Unless declared by the Board Chair, there will be one meeting per month in the months of June, July and August which shall be held on the fourth Tuesday of the month. In April, the County Board of Supervisors meets only on the 3rd Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. for reorganization.
The Public Hearing for the proposed budget is held on the fourth Tuesday of the October County Board Meeting which begins at 7:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will take place at the beginning of the meeting.
The Annual Meeting of the County Board is held on the first Monday in November at 5:30 p.m. and shall continue on following days until an annual budget is adopted.
