With 763 local residents filling Xtreme Air on Wednesday, Sept 23, 2026 morning, the Appleton Noon Lions Club’s 27th Annual Senior Living Expo proved once again that aging in the Fox Valley is an active, connected, and empowered journey.
From early-morning coffee and rolls to mid-morning Culver’s custard, the floor buzzed with equal parts practical health resources and lively community reunion. Across more than 70 vendor booths, attendees accessed free blood pressure checks, hearing screenings, and personalized “brown bag” medication reviews with local pharmacists. Informational seminars on estate planning, nutrition, and local transit provided clear, actionable guidance tailored to everyday needs.
What makes this event a standout fixture on Appleton’s calendar isn’t just the turnout—it’s the circular impact. Beyond connecting older adults and caregivers with vital local services, 100% of the Expo’s proceeds cycle directly back into the neighborhood, benefiting essential organizations like the St. Joseph Food Program, Pillars, LEAVEN, and youth programs. Attendees didn’t just walk away with valuable health insights and raffle prizes; they actively contributed to the welfare of their neighbors.
The Appleton Noon Lions Club continues to deliver a masterclass in civic service. This event offered far more than helpful brochures—it offered a vibrant reminder of what a supportive, multi-generational community looks like when people show up for one another.
